On the William Cory & Sons 1902 wagon order for two hundred wagons for Rickett, Cockerell & Co. split into four batches with numbers ranges and home yards, all registered by the Midland. Pictures of Geo J Cockerell No.5400 finchley Rd M R, and No.5375 South London, together with lettering drawing of Rickett Smith & Co No.5141 LB&SCRy. Note reference to the Royal Crest door bang on 5400 this is not a bang, there are two substantial timber blocks on the sole bar acting as bangs inline with the hinge straps. No.5375 has the same arrangement with no bang plate on the door as this was the standard Pickering method at this time.
