Published monthly from July 1897 in 6 monthly volumes (2 per year) till January 1940 Volume 86 number 511 changed to 1 volume year (12 issues) till war restrictions caused in May - June 1942 Volume 88 number 539, bi-monthly publication with only one volume per year. On resumption of monthly magazines in January 1950 volume 96 number 585, the volumes remained at one volume per year. The mile stones are issue number 100 October 1905, 200 February 1914, 300 June 1922, 400 October 1930, 500 February 1939, 600 April 1951, 700 August 1959, 800 December 1967, 900 April 1976, 1000 August 1984, the 50th Anniversary issue 1897-1947 Volume 93-570. Diamond Jubilee Issue July 1957 Volume 103 Number 675.

* Note - July 1960 Issue 711 which should be Volume 106 was wrongly numbered Volume 107 by the printers.

Note - Due to the change in magazine size Volume 109 only ran from January 1963 Issue 741 to October 1963 Issue 750. Volume 110 started at November 1963 Issue 751 and ran to December 1964 issue 764.
