Constituents of London Transport
Formed from the Metropolitan Railway 1863, Metropolitan District Railway 1868, City & South London Railway 1890, Central London Railway 1900, Great Northern & City 1904, Baker Street & Waterloo Railway 1906, Great Northern , Piccadilly & Brompton Railway 1906, Charing Cross, Euston & Hampstead Railway 1907.
Except the Metropolitan Railway, all the rest became the Underground Group between 1902 and the First World War. Both became in 1933 the London Passenger Transport Board, and the London Transport Executive in 1948.
