These tables are my current magazine listings. As you can see there are gaps, most of which are magazines not containing Southern Railway material.
Most titles seem to have had little spurts of Southern related articles, which account for some gaps.
I am still looking for some issues but I do not normal now make a deliberate search going back before 1960 for two main reasons.
One, good condition pre 1960 magazines are becoming more difficult to find and, two, many drawings and articles pre 1960 tend to be very basic.
This is why I have used the description in the comments section of sketch.
Several of the locomotive drawings amount to no more than a weight diagram and many of the others are of only one side view with no other elevation.
Further some are descriptions of conversions to propriety models to near approximation to the subject.
Another problem is searching for an mentioned article in a list to find it is not what you expected, unfortunately even model railway magazines get it wrong.
But as often these articles are one of the few sources of information, needs must where the devil drives.
